Home of the Road Runner. We are a quality-driven trailer manufacturing and service company, located in Fort Pierce, Florida. The Road Runner is our premier line of trailers. We fabricate the Road Runner right here on the premises, with quality and workmanship you can depend on.
For over 13 years, Road Runner trailers have been known for durability and strength, outlasting the competition time and time again. It was because of this reputation that we were recently selected to provide trailer frames for mobile command centers and cargo trailers for mobile vehicle units for Aluma Tower Company, provider of communication towers to Raytheon, Royal Canadian Mounted Police, U.S. Navy, U.S. Army, U. | Established in 1985, Express Trailers is one of the largest and most trusted Enclosed Trailer Manufacturers in Florida. Our emphasis has always been to deliver high quality workmanship and professionalism, which, by default, is what separates us from the rest. Whether your requirement is for parts, repairs, after-sales support or the purchase of another enclosed cargo trailer, we are here to assist. Performance and reliability is achieved through careful selection and use of the materials used. For Instance, our trailers utilize an all-tubular steel construction that includes the tongue, base frame, uprights and roof bows ensuring superior trailer strength. We only use products from the industry leaders such as Goodyear, Dexter, Atwood, and Georgia Pacific just to name a few. Our aluminum roof and sidewalls have an aerodynamic design and are totally rust-free. The roof is painted white which will substantially reduce the heat gain inside the trailer while protecting against corrosion, mildew, chalking, and discoloring. Aluminum fenders are also supplied as standard for curb appeal as well as protection against rust. We offer the latest in wheel technology with E-coated white modular wheels that are corrosion resistant. Our frames receive a thorough coat of primer and black paint and the 3/4" deck is sealed underneath for long term protection.
One of the most important things to be concerned with as an enclosed trailer buyer is what your trailer is riding on. Express Trailers provides the "Dexter Torflex" axles on all trailers, not just the larger units. These torsion axles have a rubber cushion, independent wheel suspension, which provides a smooth quiet ride. They are easily maintained with E-Z Lube lubrication that can be done without disassembly. For your safety, four-wheel electric brakes and a breakaway kit are provided as standard on all tandem axle trailers. Finally, 15" Goodyear Marathon radial tires and E-Coated white modular rims that are finished off with chrome colored caps will get you down the road safely and in style. Be sure to shop and compare for overall quality and workmanship. As you will see, there are differences in enclosed trailers.
